Influence

Influence
Makes you do wrong
Makes you ignore rational behavior and thinking
Makes you like to do wrong
Makes you do
Makes you say
Makes you regret
Makes you pay
Makes you
Makes you
Act blindly
Turns you into
An addict
Makes you immune
Makes you weak
Powerless
Defenseless
Nothing
A fish at the bottom of the barrel
No gills to breathe
No fins to swim to the top
No surface
Influence makes you fall
To the lowest of the lows
As low as you can go
Until you’ve sunk into the deep
Until you’ve swallowed too much water
Too much to be rubbed and squeezed
For all that you’ve consumed
Took its toll
Health-wise
Hell is not a place where one would want to lift up their eyes
