Influence 3

Influence
Takes over the mind
Creates dreams that won’t go away
Torments you day after day
Until you satisfy your “need”
Brings on confusion
Sweat
Heat
And the best is yet
To come
Of course,
That part was sarcastic
But holds a lot of truth
If you want rest
Your request for deliverance
Must be heartfelt and sincere
So that freedom can reside
So you won’t have to hide
Duck and dodge
Life is short
Getting rid of – is important
Losing habits are vital
Death is quick, while life is short
And the narrator doesn’t want
An Evil Report
…when the timer is up…
