Silence
9 January, 2010
Author: Karla Bardanza
Hands open, no more expectations,
Silence deep inside, past buried behind.
Distant echoes of some hopes die out.
Some wounds, a deafening shout.
No more despair, no more doubts.
Resignation, cowardice or fear,
When she finally took off the mask,
There was nothing I could ask.
