Worrying

The saying "No news is good news"
Doesn't work for us few.

No news makes a worrier worry more,
wondering what is the score.

Why haven't you heard anything,
Not being able to do something.

Telling a worrier not to worry,
is like telling us not to die.

Worrying is part of caring.
It happens.

------- Author's Notes -------

My granddaughter had her first baby on January 5th and he was born with a heart problem .The doctors at this hospital in Simcoe sent him to Toronto sick kids hospital,he needs heart surgery but they want to wait till he's stronger. My daughter the babies granddmother drives to Toronto everyday to see her daughter and grandson. As a worrier I worry about her driving 2 hours away on roads that might be icey or snow covered. I can't help it no matter how many times I'm told.

that's quite a story....

that's quite a story - I hope everything turns out well for your family! did you know that I live not too far from Simcoe - I live 100 feet across the road from Lake Erie - but as you probably know the lake hasn't frozen over yet!
