Worrying
11 January, 2010
Author: Barbara Goodhew
The saying "No news is good news"
Doesn't work for us few.
No news makes a worrier worry more,
wondering what is the score.
Why haven't you heard anything,
Not being able to do something.
Telling a worrier not to worry,
is like telling us not to die.
Worrying is part of caring.
It happens.
------- Author's Notes -------
My granddaughter had her first baby on January 5th and he was born with a heart problem .The doctors at this hospital in Simcoe sent him to Toronto sick kids hospital,he needs heart surgery but they want to wait till he's stronger. My daughter the babies granddmother drives to Toronto everyday to see her daughter and grandson. As a worrier I worry about her driving 2 hours away on roads that might be icey or snow covered. I can't help it no matter how many times I'm told. |
