Pages fly in the wind;
Leafing from tree to tree,
Blowing from city to city.
A whirlwind taking you anywhere.
A mile marker, a place marker,
On your journey while you rest.
That is what I am for.

I found some pieces of birch bark one day since in a used bookstore i got to they had bookmarks made from the bark. I figured i'd try my hand at making a special bookmark for a friend who also like the idea of a birch bark bookmark. To spice it up i wrote this little poem on the bookmark. |
