The Tears I Cry
19 January, 2010

vinebar

you can't see the tears I cry
they are for me alone
you can't feel my hurt inside
it is my pain to bare

you no longer walk with me
but behind
you don't hold my hand
you tolerate it

kisses to say goodbye
are mechanical
as are the "I love you too"-'s
you speak

I can no longer feel your love
I no longer want to beg for your touch
I no longer find it cute- when you make me order your food
or when you say "I have a wife for that"

what happened to appreciating me
I now feel taken for granted
no more excuses will I make for you
there is no excuse

though you may not see them..
the tears I cry are not for you
they are for the love I used to cherish
in my heart
