Sun Shine Kisses
22 January, 2010
Author: Audrey
I sit on the swing ,
look out before a meadow,
bright blooming flowers cover,
the brown rich soil,
the leaves grow back,
grass sways in the wind,
sun shinning down on the,
gorgeous blond locks,
birds chirp perched,
on their dull gray branch,
rabbits run across the tips,
of my toes,
mice maze through the,
meadow like a lighting bolt,
wind whispers in my ear,
as if it was telling a secret,
relaxing in the sun ,
as it kisses your cheek,
water sways back and fourth,
dancing across your toes.
------- Author's Notes -------
i was just thinking about how a meadow would look with a pond and the animals. and put it in to my point of view from what i see. |

Meridian (205.188.116.135) -- Saturday, January 23 2010, 05:14 pm I love nature too. I really like the description. I can always dream about fantasy when I look at nature, and this poem reminds me of those constant thoughts I used to have. I need to dream nature dreams again, because they bring so much tranquility and peace. Great poem Audrey, great poem. |
