She whispers in my ear at the break of every day.
She keeps on getting louder till i hear what she will say.
The world is cruel and life unfair with her upon my back.
The blood i've shed and love i've lost has turned my insides black.
What i would do to turn back time and send her on her way.
But with all that i have shared with her i know she's here to stay.
I've tried to live without her, i thought i did my best
But when i turn around again, it was like she never left.

Will she always be here? Will i ever catch a break?
don't get your hopes up, I will let you down.
Because all my tears are fake.

So when i lay back down to sleep, i tell that girl goodbye.
But in the morning when the sun comes up she says lets go get high.
I try to fight her, i give it my all.
But she just waits for me to trip and fall.
I can't go on with her voice in my head.
sometimes i wonder, am i better off dead.
She likes my disease she wants to make it worse.
If only that b*tch could know how much i hurt

keep going, be proud of yourself

Your writing is so true to your heart and writing this for therapy is good that's why I started. I was molested by my supposedly loving adopted father and writing about the pain and mistrust helped. never give up.
