Poetry, Rabbits And The Three Elements: 5 Poems
6 February, 2010
Author: Colin Stewart
I hurt so much from misery
with this pretentious side of poetry
that my zipper is up and I cannot see
when it's time to have a pee!
--------
Rabbits do it all the time.
They're gifted with rhythm and carnal rhyme
induced by the bump and primal grind
of being a slave to their one track mind!
--------
The WATER of life:
With this endless supply it's become a shame
and we are the ones who are to blame
unable to conserve or remove our stain
from precious clean water going down the drain.
-------
The AIR of pollution:
On our coffee break it's time to declare
a desire to receive some fresh air
but unfortunately we begin to cough and choke
from the hazards of having another smoke!
-------
The FIRE of terrorism:
Of this mission I'm blind to those who see.
My desire is at cost for a victory
and with this charge I make to see the light.
Your life has become my god given right!
