The Master Plan: 5 Poems
6 February, 2010
Author: Colin Stewart
Women do worry and there is a book
which desperately needs a closer look
asking the question of 'who knows when'
with the baffling mystery of solving men!
-------
Behind his identity is a sacred cow
with integrity compromised and crying foul
as his belfry is home to the biggest bat.
Bob Dylan has channeled the cat in the hat!
------
"It's a feeling we never anticipate
and so alien to us is your love and hate
as your strident world has offered a clue.
This is a planet of emotions split in two!"
------
The first prototype had only one wing.
They were fitted with a whistle in order to sing
and nature gave them a bird's eye view
so they could look down in pity on me and you!
------
His guilt gave way to haunted misery.
Her young life retained its memory
and like a phoenix rising from the ash
she stands here holding her bloody gash!
