In the throes of love they shall return.
With the dreams and desires it's time to yearn
as this ghostly rendezvous eases the pain
when the heartbeat still lingers in Lover's Lane!

The cigarette girl will make you cry
at that golden stack in the sky
and she knows exactly the reason why
you can never stop until the day you die!

Drifting into oblivion is the big balloon.
Someone let the air out way too soon
and the dying sound can only deflate
a planet and its impending expiry date!

---

She took away my remote and I could see
that I had a wife and it was a she
who thought I was gay so I'll never be free.
Selective hearing will be the death of me!

---

Lightning was captured and in a bottle it sat.
Peace broke out and we were happy about that.
People became human and no longer uptight
but boredom set in and someone started a fight!
