Tears In The Rain
18 February, 2010
Author: Devilyangelic
Walking in this February shower,
as the hurt inside unfurls like a flower.
Tears I crave to keep,
don't let a stranger see this lost soul weep?
Pacing through this torrential rain,
wanting so much just to see his face again?
Cars and buses pass me by,
trying my hardest not to cry.
Dashing through these puddles,
imagining just one of your cuddles.
My heart I feel come undone,
as it's soft ribbon falls whilst I run.
Tippytoeing from this thunder,
I feel myself slipping under.
Gazing upward I say a prayer,
please Dad let me know you're there?
Crumbling in now puddled streams,
tears run down my face as from the Heavens it teems.
My tearlets run away,
as in my mind I hear Isn't she lovely play.
Here I am in my darkest hour,
surrounded by Angels in this shower.
Silken ribbon binds my heart once again,
as I learn to shed my TEARS IN THE RAIN!!!
