Flee Love
25 June, 2002
Author: Anjali Thapa
Flee, Love
You’re free now
Won’t catch you again
Won’t keep you in my heart
Clear out, love
Before you get caught again
A change of heart, in case
These aching pearls of tears
Love yourself, now
Bygone days
And sweet memories
Dump them in the gutters
Trees that change leaves
Aren’t worth them
Clouds that change colors
I no more need them.
