The Forest
3 November, 2001
Author: Don Fraser
It is autumn, I love to walk through the enchanting forest. I see The leaves that have turned brown falling from their mothers strong branches, They are alone now lying on the cold earth. They are very cold, and they will go to a damp grave. Soon snow will cover their slumber, I won't be able to walk in the beautiful forest. But hark! Spring will come again and more leaves will appear on the trees. It will be then I will be able to walk and enjoy their beauty once more. After spring will be summer. I will feel the wamth of the sun on my back as I walk. Around me will be the trees showing off their leaves oh so proud. The ferns will add to their granduere. Soon it will be winter again and the forest will be peaceful again. |
