Last Waltz
21 March, 2010
Author: LAR
If but for a chance,
a moment,
another bit of time,
for that which was lost long ago,
for it to be once,
as it should have been,
then gladly would I dance with the devil
in the pale moonlight.
We all take turns
staring at the walls,
which leads to thinking about things,
which brings back memories,
which reminds us of regrets,
and we wonder, sometimes,--
"...What if.....?"
