You ' Can ' Take It With You!
7 April, 2010
Author: Colin Stewart
These expensive breast implants are with her still
and the many fillings with the golden fill.
Sparkling nail polish on every toe
and the tattoo which saluted Papa Joe.
The earrings were left behind by request
but the mortician's report put it best
when the only thing denied by your own death
is the gift of life and its sweet breath!

Meridian (96.248.192.134) -- Tuesday, April 13 2010, 03:31 am It is sad though. I guess the 'can' is related to dying with material things that are no longer of value when a person is deceased. I would make an analysis, but it wouldn't come out right. Anywho, great work! It made me think critically about something. |
