The Jackal And The Eagle
19 October, 2001
Author: Don Fraser
In the mountains a long time ago
An eagle would fly over
Every time a jackal would show
The jackal thought he owned the land
He would not give
Anything a hand
One day the eagle could take no more
He sent for his cousin
At some distant shore
His cousin got the jackal out of his cave
When confronted
That jackal
Was not very brave
He left that mountain never to return
From that eagle of long ago
Oh so much did we learn.
