Your heart is pounding as it plays the drum.
The march begins and here you come.
Her effusive smile has lit the way
so prepare for what you have to say.
Each verb and noun will cast a spell
with a testimony you live to tell
ensuring that destiny has divinely led
by occupying her pretty head
but fate is cruel and your time is up
the taste is bitter from this loving cup
and the situation can't get more grim
when she looks at you but thinks of him!
