War Reflections
17 May, 2010

On the field of battle, blood soaked youth lay,
Their once sparkling eyes, extinguished in gun shot spray,
Men who gave command, wear no blemishing mark,
Yet these dreadful deeds, defy description so stark,
War is wretchedly vivid, numerous are histories columns,
Mankind learns few lessons, war is ever solemn.
