Gone

Author: Luke Mudge
Silence can be heard by the ones that knew you,
Silence can be deafening to the ones that truly cared for you,
Silence that blinds you and makes you numb,
Silence that makes you only feel one thing,
Though somehow, that tear will roll down, not one final time,
But for every tear,
Silence will become smiles,
And for every time you go down that mental path,
Silent smiles will become bigger and last longer
