Brother Death

Oh Brother Death
How I long to walk beside you
In your arms I know I will find peace
I follow the paths you have laid before me
Overwhelmed by emotions that follow
I succumb to the inevitable
Oh Brother Death
I will not lay down for you
Though I know one day it will come
When my lessons are finished
The paths finally end
Only then, will I talk with you again

Becky (75.16.237.232) -- Thursday, July 21 2011, 09:27 pm I was in an odd mood that day and as on most odd days this one wrote itself.... Glad you liked it. |
