Attitude

Attitude can take you far in this world
Either good or bad
It can lead you in one direction or the other
A good attitude can help you along the way
To accomplishing everything you set out to do
It can help you fight an illness
Or just help make you a happier person
Conversely, a bad attitude
Can stand in your way of everything
It will alienate those trying to help you
And can affect every aspect of your life
There are times that even those
With the best of attitudes normally
Will find something to "set them off"
It is at those times
That you find the real person that you are
A change in attitude can start with one specific event
But, if you let it, it can change your entire outlook on life
Are you one to dwell on singular bad moments
That cause a momentary change to become a lasting one,
Or are you mentally strong enough to "chalk it up to experience"
And learn to grow from it?
How you handle those momentary changes
Will determine your outlook on life
Will you become jaded by the moments in life
That try your positive attitude,
Or will you fight thru, remain strong
And persevere thru it?
The attitude you portray to the world
Is the first impression you give
Do you want people to think of you
As someone who lives their life,
Or as someone that life happens to?
Your attitude from the first sight
Can determine what the world thinks of you
And what you think of the world
Don't let momentary setbacks
Take from you the best the world has to offer
