Santa Claus
8 September, 2001
Author: Don Fraser
An old fat man will come down your chimney
The reason he does that
He gives presents to you and me
His name is, Santa Claus
In his travels
He never would pause
Oh sometimes he eats a cookie
If he is hungry
He will eat two or three
So if you leave them on a dish
Then go to bed
And make a wish
He will come to your house on Christmas eve night
But you have to stay
Out of sight
On your roof he will land
With all of his reindeer
Oh! they are grand
When he slides down your chimney from the soot he might sneeze
Then he put presents under everyone's trees
On Christmas morning When you wake up
Your mom will fix you hot chocolate
In a steaming cup
But you won't want that, After all
There are presents to unwrap
You will open them with such delite
you just got up You look a terrible fright
It looks like a mouse was in your hair
But how you look You don't care
You open one present to see what is inside
When you saw it
You almost cried
Old Santa you he must like
He was so nice
He gave you a bike
As you know it's Christmas day
Now is the time
For you to go out and play
You have a new bike to show the kids
When they see it
They will blow their lids
Oh sure you got other presents too
But that bike
Was the best that was given to you
Words can't describe
How you Feel inside
You always put your boots on When you go out to play
Oh how happy I am
On this Christmas day.
