What do you do when you are surrounded by people who love you,
People who care for you,
People who want the best for you
Yet you feel all alone in the world?

The people around you want to help,
But they are powerless to do so
You want to hide your hurt from them,
But you are unable to do so

As time goes by and you realize that no one can help you,
You start to get more and more frustrated by those trying to help
You start taking out your anger and frustration on them
Knowing full well that it is not their, nor anyone else's fault

You start to realize that no matter how many people you are blessed to have in your life,
You are always alone
At the end of the day, the only person you can truly count on is yourself

That is not to say you can't seek help and find it,
That the people that love you won't be there to help
But the truth is, there are times that no one can help,
That no one has the answers you need,
That no one is in a position to do anything for you

It is best at those times to pull back...
Pull back from everyone before you alienate those trying to help
Pull back before you drive everyone away that cares about you
Your only hope is that they understand
Understand that sometimes it's best to be alone,
Understand that sometimes they can't help and that you need time to be by yourself

Time to be scared,
Time to be hurt,
Time to be confused
And time to work everything out for yourself

The people that love you will know that you will figure things out
And will wait for you to come back around
They will know that when you do,
You will be stronger than before
And ready to continue the long road to recovery

Until you are,
Know that being alone, though scary, is not always a bad thing
And is something that we all must face from time to time
Embrace the time alone
And learn from it what you need to do to be a better you

Very well written. Sometimes we can only help ourselves. Yes. Being alone isn't all that bad sometimes.
