Love In The Waves
11 September, 2010
Author: Dija Abernathy
partial foot prints left in the sand,
bein washed away by gentle waves,
walking side by side on this white beach strand,
remanising on our dive of the duma caves,
listening to the gulls cry,
feeling the life in this great expanse,
our faces turned to the afternoon sky,
drifting across the beach as if in a trance,
a feeling so deep,
a conection so rare,
all i could keep,
and could never spare,
by my side for all time,
i hold you close to me,
the love we have sublime,
in our eyes for all to see.
