Time Will Tell
7 October, 2010
Author: Pondering Red
Time will tell,
says the graffiti on the wall.
The letters have been there
for a long time.
Time spins.
Seasons morph one into another -
red leaves falling
onto white snow covered
sidewalks as apple blossoms
gently land
onto lush summers grasses
And she walks
and she thinks,
jumps over hurdles
laughs out loud
as she strolls
through time -
clocks ticking,
calendar pages flipping,
falling onto old wooden floors.
Time will tell
her what ?
She already knows
and sees
changes,
flowing changes,
rivers
and clouds
and her thoughts
rushing,
slowly
on and on
and so
she keeps thinking
of a plan,
as she photographs
autumn
in her city,
in the alleyways,
colours - drawings,
leaves crunchy crimson,
cold air,
warm cafes
chilly breath
frozen in the air,
October air -
frozen in time
encapsulated
by a stroke of the camera.
She captures time.
