My Defenses Fall Like Rain
8 December, 2010
Author: Mental
We fumble in the dark
she says things
that dreams are made of.
we split the emotions that divide
she answers sweet nothings
that my emotions can't hide.
dancing dim lights filter through the pane
she stops and stares
my defenses fall like rain.
scatter remnants get collected
she tilts her head
the sounds of love get elected.
