Half Moon

There's a half moon
over us tonight.
One half rich and dark,
the other light and glowing.
It kind of looks like
a ying/yang sign
bringing balance
to the earth...
the black/white
peace sign...
Balance...
When your mind
is calm and clear,
not tired or
agitated...
focused...
The shades of
gray center me...
my core,
my essence.
Too many emotions,
thoughts,
bring inner chaos.
Though, tonight,
the evening is
leading me to
the morning
sunshine
with songs
of love, beauty
and harmony
from the birds
awakening at
dawn...
