The Truth
18 January, 2011
Author: Mark Spencer
I close the gap twixt black and white,
I have no shades of gray.
On my account ye fear the light
I'll shine on Judgment Day.
Ye keep me far from public view,
For fear of what they'll find.
Wouldst they accept thee if they knew
What lies within thy mind?
Yet in the end, I shall be heard,
I cannot be denied.
A testimony, un-obscured,
By foolish human pride.
For everything thou kept concealed,
As far back as thy youth,
At story's end shall be revealed,
And ALL will know the truth.
For I exist in spite of thee,
And I shall have my say.
Thy masks won't hide thy soul from me,
Deceit will fall away.
And everything that is a lie
Will crumble into dust.
Fallacious souls will also die,
For they create distrust.
Yet paradise is still within
The reach of the uncouth.
The blood of Christ will cleanse thy sin,
And save thee from the truth.
