Hope Chest
31 January, 2011
Author: Dalene
I opened up my little hope chest filled with praise reports and prayer request. I reached inside with only a prayer. I wasn't surprised that Jesus was there. When I looked in his face, He said with a smile, to never lose hope, He'd be there a while. If I never let His Word depart, He would forever dwell in my heart. This hope chest, or heart, was given to me as a gift from God to store Heaven, you see! It's filled with goodies and things that are free, like peace and joy and victory. And much much more there are things to share with hurting people everywhere. I can never close the lid on this chest, because inside is my comfort and rest! I hope someday you can have one too, a hope chest like mine that belongs to you! |
