The Morning Prayers Of Love
22 February, 2011

With a longing stare
your eyes wept innocently
the winter laughter hit a snare.
the days of dark left us at a stance
the morning prayers of love
brought romance.
the candle lit shadows
left lasting impressions
couldn't see in the dark
but knew each others expressions.
the cold ride felt empty
my thoughts of pre-morn
my heart said yes
but my thoughts were torn.
the sweet scent of ice
forming on my thoughts of another
she blazed also true
same sensations wander
of the one number two.
oh how years race
older wiser
a different pace.

agreed

The past always haunts the future.. But we have to remember that to try and leave our ghosts in the past so they don't interfere with a possible future.

Great write Mental.. as stated before... Write on....
