Cruise Ships
10 January, 2002
Author: Dorothy C. Fox
I dreamed that I was on a ship awaiting
this wonderful trip...
standing at the aft rail, I saw the
Moon leaving a trail of golden rays.
I put my arms out and they became my
wings and I found myself following the
golden trail.
Up, up and away I went, certainly I
was "heaven bent".
Looking down the golden trail the
cruise ship disappeared from my sight
and I smiled with delight.
No more wondering what was to be, I was
already out at sea...
a sea of brilliant stars that night
and my joy was surely full of God's Light,
I explored the heavenly seas when a voice
said so very gently, "you must go back..
the time is not now."
And, I found myself on the ship's prow,
the moonlit trail no longer there.
But my joy continued as now I knew that
God's words are true
