The People In My Life
11 November, 2001
Author: Dorothy C. Fox
Throughout all of the ages through which I have passed,
there are many who came and went without a ripple in my life.
Many who came to haunt and to love as they descended
and went from here to Heaven above.
They came into my life, one at a time,
to charge or to change me, no matter what, or why,
but I remain the same for I cannot change...
My life is here to exist and to learn and
that is about all that I am.
No matter what, or why, I remain the same,
for I cannot change.
Throughout all of the ages through which I have passed,
there are many who came and went
without a ripple in my life.
Theybrought some happiness and some strife,
but I remain the same,
for that is all that I am.
The creation from Eternity to Eternity,
that is who I am.
One soul from among many that come to Earth,
sometimes to learn and sometimes for re-birth.
Is karma that substance that I learn?
Or is it for something else that I yearn?
My God is that Lord from Above,
who came to teach me about His Love.
And, of all the people in my life,
this is the One for whom I yearn
and His Love, I do not spurn.
