Falling Tears
10 March, 2011
Author: Devilyangelic
Second Christmas without the one,
who would scoop me up when to him I would run.
Holding his hand to cross big roads,
telling him of all my bad episodes.
Guidance given without him knowing,
though I lost my way he kept me going.
Stubborn am I just like you,
warm-hearted with honest eyes of greeny-blue.
Now I run towards a dream,
where things are never as they seem.
You're still here and doing just fine,
oh how I love you Dad of mine.
I crave to no longer understand,
that this dream of mine is but grains of sand.
Slipping through my fingers tonight as I weep,
but these visions I yearn for won't stay in my keep.
Every memory made more precious by the hour,
touching my heart as they hold so much power.
Trying to escape my hurt and pain,
but it comes back time and again.
Every stumble I ever had,
I always had you with me Dad.
But now unlike all of those years,
who's going to catch my FALLING TEARS?!?
