I went to 'Nam in '67,
Came home in '68.
Today the city gave
A welcome home parade,
18 years too late.
"These vets are heroes, every one;
They are men we're proud to know."
No one ever told me that
18 years ago.

Cam Rang Bay 68-69. 44c20 eng. repair heavy equip. Get on to goggle earth & see how the small villages has changed. Our compound now a park. Air fields, abandon. Etc. Write on brother John! |
