I Lay Here In Silence
2 April, 2011
Author: Tarna
I lay here in the silence
Alone, without you
Running my fingers cross my lips
I remember your kiss
I miss the weight of your arm
Laid gently across me
And the soft snores of your slumber
The slight smile on your face
I miss the dreams I have
As I cuddle up by your side
Awaking to you holding me close
With whispers of love we confide
I close my eyes tightly
Pulling my covers up snug
Wipe away the silent tear
And through the moon,
I send you my love
I sigh a deep breath
Knowing it's only a short while
Till in your arms
My heart will again smile
