Locked In A Cell
4 April, 2011
Author: Elizabeth Squires
locked in a cell thinking of you
thinking of you
no warm arms for me to run to
no warm arms for me to run to
I committed a crime so bad
I left the girl who loved me mad
asking myself why did I do this crime
I'm nothing but a low down bit of slime
I'd reverse the action I took
but I'm here going through my charge book
I can't stand living without you
in my lonely cell what can I do
locked in a cell thinking of you
thinking of you
no warm arms for me to run to
no warm arms for me to run to

Stephen Harper (69.157.5.137) -- Wednesday, April 6 2011, 05:48 pm another grand aspect of your writing is your uncanny ability to take a poetic narrative and turn it into a really good story - so that makes you a really good storyteller as well. |
