Crossroads
17 April, 2011
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
I suffer you, oh life
So that I may feel the passions
So that I may know how to live
So that I may experience the splendor
I abandon my childish ways
And open my mind
Feeling the space around me
Letting the creativity flow through me
I also hold close my childish ways
Allowing my mind to blindly believe
In all the forces that surround me
That nature holds out to me
Oh pain, I do not look to you with anger
I look to you accepting the growth
Knowing the knowledge you contain
Understanding it will make me stronger
To life, with your choices
With your thorns and rainbows
I fear you not, for no matter to the journey
I will feel, I will know, I will live
