Springtime
1 May, 2011
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Looking out the window at the sky of blue
I can see the treetops budding with spring
I can almost feel the wind blowing
As I watch a small group of geese fly by
I can smell the fresh first cutting of the grass
Though it missed the pretty, pesky dandelions
Walking out the door without a jacket feels great
Stopping for a moment to take it all in
I look at all that nature is sharing
and bask in the wondrous day
Taking in a deep breath of springtime
...I sneeze
