Pedestal
6 May, 2011
Author: Tarna
Why'd you put me on this pedestal
Too high to touch the ground
I am not an angel
I am not perfect nor are my decisions always sound
I am no better than anyone else
Just a loser on a winning streak
Please realize I am foul-able
That my perfection met its peak
Forgive me my imperfections
I'm fallible as any human heart
I can't help what I am feeling
I've fallen prey to cupid's dart
