The Coming
8 December, 2003
Author: Dragonsinger
Snow falls
the little dancing faeries, playing
Snow faeries
come to take their winter captive
Dancing, laughing
dazzling, and then blinding
In such
a subtle way, they fool
And then
they take. A soul, that
They will hide
and trap, until Spring.
So one day
the sky turns colour of purity
And, softly at first,
the snow faeries gather.
I know
that the time has come
To go.

I have never shared my poems with anyone before, let alone posted them on the internet (i think that's easier to have them read by strangers, though, than by people who i actually know). it's really great to get some support. :-) |
