Peace

Three fingers down until two resemble a V
Peace is what I want to hear and see
I love the birds, I love when they sing
I love the rustle of the leaves
I love the swaying trees and the feel of the breeze
Three fingers down until two resemble a V
Peace is what I want to hear and see
I love thinking, concentrating, being able to hear my thoughts
I love when my mind slows down to a walk from a run
I love the horizon; I love the setting of the sun
Three fingers down until two resemble a V
Peace is what I want to hear and see
I love the shhh of things; I love the peace and quiet
I love nature in general
Not too fond of rocks and minerals
Three fingers down until two resemble a V
Peace is what I want to hear and see
Was there ever a time, where I had peace of mind?
In my dreams, I’m at peace
Until inconsideration makes my dreams cease
I want the feeling of resting easy to increase
It’s soothing, calming and a sweet release
Into that world of no return
Solitude and serenity is what I yearn
Escapism into a world where I can’t be found
Where I get lifted off the ground
My smile widens as the blue engulfs my frame
I’m so cocooned I can’t hear my name
