If I'm not mistaken
I forgot, but I think the tribute in your "Gone But Not Forgotten" poem is to the same loved one.

It's sad to lose someone, because you think they're gonna keep on living forever. When a preacher I knew passed away, I was in shock. It was very sudden.

Understand your sentiments. Great dedication.

Yes, extremely tough to loose a loved one.. This one was written for my dad.. He passed away this past april. Haven't been able to word feelings right, but this one came out in ink like it were tears, so...and :-) my gone but never forgotten was written for my grandfather.. ya know, I really hope they are up there together playing cards like they usta.. Or watching sports...thanks for the support mermer!

Hi Shan, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I think we all wish we had that few moments more to say we loved them.. I think they can still hear us just fine.. Hang in there girl.. He will live on in your heart forever....

You said in your last comment this poem came out like it was tears.. Did you look at the shape of this poem. That was what I noticed about it.. Looks like a teardrop.... This poem is a wonderful tribute of your love..

It sure does look like a tear, huh? Lol weird! Thanks for the support.. He does live on through my sister and I and o ur family, daily.. through our memories, thoughts and prayers.. And in poetry :-)
