What’s For Real?
7 June, 2011
Author: Meridian Zuriel
There’s a bunch of humans
But you don’t know who’s real
There are a bunch of hearts
But you don’t know who loves
There are a bunch of souls
But you don’t know who’s hollow
There’s a bunch of groups
But you don’t know the groups within
There are a bunch of mouths
But you don’t know who keeps secrets
There’s a bunch of hands
But you don’t know who will keep you from falling
There’s a bunch of legs
But you don’t who’ll go that extra mile
There are a lot of brains
But you don’t know who’ll help
There are a lot of eyes
But you don’t know who’ll guide you when lost
There are a lot of smiles
But you can’t pinpoint the deceiver
There are a lot of promises
But you don’t know which are true
There are a lot of pictures
But you don’t know which are temporary
And not knowing all of these things
Is very scary

Fussed with the title for a minute, until I decided on what it is now. |
