Intimidation
8 June, 2011
Author: Meridian Zuriel
The driver’s on my tail
Feeling an urge to speed up so they can go
All I know
Is that I’ve got to enjoy
My cruise
If the lane’s open
Then by all means
Pass me
Instead of riding my bumper
People would’ve thought you were being towed
You’re so close
For the most
Of the time my car’s traveling along the roads
Sticking to my bumper
Like glue
Why don’t you
Get in another lane
And refrain
From tailing me when it’s time to stop
I brake
You accelerate
Decelerate!
Cuz if not
I got to continue with my deceleration
Despite my frustration
Of the actions you’re undertaking
Intimidating me
To do what it looks like you want
But at some point in time
If you’re behind me
Whoever you may be
And you’re driving my tail for miles
Got time to pass and won’t
My speed will stay the same
Too bad if you get mad
If you didn’t seize the opportunity
Then you’ll just be stuck behind me
Intimidation is serious
I can’t have my nerves
Being tangled like wire
Because you won’t retire

Meri (64.12.117.71) -- Saturday, June 25 2011, 06:05 am I hope you don't mind me calling you Wyld for short. Your comment made me chuckle. Tailgating is terrible and I try not to do it, regardless if I'm in hurry or not. I just don't understand how a vehicle can tailgate for miles, when they have a whole lane free to pass. Thanks again for the comment Wyldflower. |
