Gets in the hands and feet
Reaches to the soul
Well if the message is positive
If the message is filled with
Advice
Sometimes music that sounds
Nice
Isn’t what I need
Got to listen for inspiration
Can’t get caught up in beats
Need something
For my salvation
Can’t let what’s flesh-pleasing
Make me lose
Concentration
Need a song that’s
All about edification
And glorification
Of Jesus Christ
Music has many messages
Invokes many thoughts
Depending on the sound
Music is very profound
Very influential
Very powerful
Can create quite an impact
On lifestyles and perception
Still training my ear
To be open to reception
When certain tracks are playing
That may be a distraction
From me putting betterment
And prayer into action
