Life
1 December, 2002
Author: April Erwin
Life starts out endless.
You feel you have so many years ahead of you to waste.
A couple of years later, you are sweet sixteen
And driving through some of the most exciting years of your life.
He's the man of my dreams
He's perfect! you think
As your twenty-seventh birthday rolls by as you say, "I do!"
You've never been happier with the family you've created.
You have the perfect house,
A wonderful husband and two beautiful children.
Your goals are accomplished.
Whoa! graduation already?
How did time fly by so quickly?
Next thing you know, your retired.
You're getting old.
Your life flashes before your eyes
As your heart beats it's last beat.
Good-bye everyone,
Bye.
