Romantic Intuition
22 June, 2011
Author: Mental
Nighttime rarity
storms after midnight
a sudden clarity.
a long kiss a thoughtful lull
flickering moonlight
overpowered by shadows that are full.
the night seems to get thicker
as time moves through
the moment comes and goes like a flicker
oh, those times with you.
the blackness gets thinner
the sun is consuming
emotional connections with the night
is still ever looming.
outside window does not reflect the same
harsh onslaught overwhelming
this situation has a different name.
romantic intuition
hidden underneath closed eyes
for dreams are here
and here the heart cries.
