with every heart beat
with every breath of air
with every step we take
we move closer to the future
with every conversation
with every thought we share
with every day we wake.
we move closer to happiness
with every memory.
with every sunset
with every nite we rest
we move closer to the end
will the future come
before the happiness does
will the end happen
before we are ready to let it
will our dreams be fullfilled
or will they only be memories
of what could have been.
we never knows for sure.
we only continue
with every heart beat
with every breath of air
with every step we take.
