Letter To An Old Friend (final Goodbye)
22 July, 2011
Author: Taylor James
Dear me,
I sit here.
Knowing who I am.
Feeling revived from my past
I'm no longer the boy I used to be.
No more pills down my throat,
No more blades on my skin,
No more pain from deep within.
I've let you go,
I've drawn the line,
I've pushed you away,
I don't need to hide.
I will always remember ,
Believe me I'll never forget,
But now I've moved on ,
I have no regrets.
I've set you free
So fly on by,
I have the memories
So you'll never die.
If there was no you
There would be no me,
I've become so strongĀ
You're no longer my enemy.
We have come a long way
Just you and me,
A treacherous path
Full of anguish and pain.
Here's a letter just for you.
To say goodbye.
To sing a new tune.
So here we are,
The end is neigh.
We'll never meet again
So this is my final goodbye.

Taylor james (82.132.210.76) -- Friday, July 22 2011, 01:41 am For some reason I don't feel like it is finished. I feel like there is something missing..perhaps a second letter is needed to finally finish the pain.?? |
Meri (64.12.117.71) -- Friday, July 22 2011, 02:07 am But if you feel a second one coming on, then by all means. It's up to you and how you feel. I always right how I feel. If I feel a sequel, then I'll submit it, until I feel like I'm finished. Write what's in your heart. If there's more to get out, then write away. |
Meri (108.26.80.48) -- Wednesday, August 10 2011, 08:32 pm I meant...I always write how I feel. |
